We Did It For You – Hippie Chick at Heritage Square Museum
by on August 24, 2010 in Misc

On Sunday, in celebration of the 90th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage, the Heritage Square Museum is presenting “We Did It For You! Women’s Journey Through History.”

This is a really cool play that follows the Women’s Rights movement beginning with Anne Hutchinson in 1591 and continuing to Hillary Rodham Clinton today.

I get to be a hippy chick singer from the 1960s and perform my rockin’ acoustic guitar version of Paul Williams’ “Woman in the Moon” (Barbara Streisand sang this song in “A Star Is Born” and I performed it with Paul in Las Vegas a few months ago).

After the play, attendees are welcome to visit the museum’s exhibit Their Rights and Nothing Less: Celebrating the 90th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage. Join us!

Sunday Aug 29 @ 6pm

Heritage Square Museum, 3800 Homer Street, Los Angeles CA
